Die Insel Koh Samui ist eine der Haupttouristenorte in Thailand. Der kleine Airport auf der Insel befindet sich in Privatbesitz der Bangkok Airways und über Jahre haben sie keiner anderen Airline erlaubt dort zu landen. Seit 2008 gibt es nun endlich ein Agreement mit Thai Airways, so das auch die inzwischen ein paar Flüge täglich nach Koh Samui Airport anbieten. Die Scenery hier ist noch die originale von 2001 und wurde seitdem auch nicht verändert. Es ist keine so aufwendige Scenery, wie man sie heute macht, sieht aber trotzdem ganz gut aus.

Koh Samui Island is one of the main tourist destinations in Thailand. The small Koh Samui Airport is privately owned by Bangkok Airways, which did not allow for years any other airline to land there. Now, by 2010, Thai Airways has reached an agreement with Bangkok Airways and also offers a few daily flights between Bangkok and Koh Samui. In the past, the airport could only handle Turboprob aircraft, such as the ATR72 but after a few extensions of the runway, jet aircraft like B737 and A320 can also land on Koh Samui.
The Scenery here is a simple made scenery with the technology used in 2001. I planted a lot of coconut trees and included some more islands around Koh Samui. It has not been updated ever since.
