Tagbilaran Airport Scenery für den FS2000 Flugsimulator von Microsoft. Tagbilaran ist die Hauptstadt von der Insel Bohol in den Philippinen, wo ich heute lebe. Ich habe die Scenery damals nach groben Vorlagen und ein paar Fotos gebaut, die selbst am Airport geschossen habe. Damals gab es glaube ich nur so ein oder zwei Flüge mit Fokker 50 Turboprobs am Tag, heute wird der Airport mindestens sechsmal am Tag, von mindestens drei verschiedenen Airlines von Manila aus angeflogen. Die Scenery, die hier zum Download steht ist aber noch die alte von 2001. Das Terminal war damals noch im Bau und die Texturen geben die Gebäudefront nicht detailgentreu wieder. Trotzdem ist es besser als die Standart Scenery des FS2000, die damals für den Airport nur die Landebahn darstellte.
Wie immer, werden auch hier für den einwandfreien Bertieb noch die Zusatztexturen von Nova, Nova Gold, VOD und Airport benötigt, die man bei Flightsim.com unter "Must Have Files" runterladen kann.
The Airport in Tagbilaran City (the capital of Bohol Island) is a small regional Airport in the southern Philippines. During my holidays, in September 2000, I went there and took some pictures that I used for my scenery. I also bought a map of the city and discovered tha the ramp area of my FS 98 version was on the wrong side of the runway. Now in this version, the ramp area is much smaller and on the correct side of the runway. This scenery file has not been updated for the look of 2010 but it's still better than the default airport in FS2000, which displays only the runway.
